ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hello! I’m Molly, and I’m a professional artist and certified art teacher based out of Raleigh, NC. I have 18+ years of experience teaching art to students of all ages and experience levels. I believe creativity plays a vital role in self-expression and personal growth, and I’m dedicated to helping students discover their inner voices and develop their artistic talents.

With a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and certification in AP Portfolio Prep, I’ve taught art to students in public schools, summer camps, paint-n-sip studios, and through one-on-one private lessons. My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the joy in someone’s eyes once they've grasped a new skill and created something they are proud of, and ensuring each person I work with is comfortable in the process of achieving improvement is my highest priority.

Through the workshops I offer, one of my main objectives is to inspire individuals to recognize and embrace the healing power of art. Many people underestimate the value of their own artistic abilities, as western society's emphasis on hierarchy, patriarchy, and capitalism has led many of us away from appreciating our own unique creative spark.

This current era presents an opportunity for us to see through these messages and adopt new perspectives - art creation serves as a transformative practice, allowing us to channel and transmute the energy within us. Moreover, it empowers us by strengthening our ability to differentiate between our inner voices and external influences, which enables us to explore and connect with our inner selves as well as choose new ways of seeing and Being in the world.

In addition to teaching workshops, I'm available for online and in-person creative consultations and one-on-one art lessons, and would be glad to offer you guidance that's relevant to you at whatever phase you’re at on your creative journey.

CAncellation & refund policies

a full refund is available 48 hours or more before class
if you cancel between 48 and 2 hours before class, your payment will be credited to a future class
exceptions to these policies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
workshops require a minimum of 6 students and most have a maximum of 12 students. In the event a workshop is cancelled due to lack of registrations, you will receive a full refund.
if a class needs to be cancelled due to weather or unforseen circumstances, participants will have the option to transfer to another class at no cost, as long as space is available, or receive a 100% refund. Cancellations are determined no less than 24 hours before the class starts if possible.
